Last year, The Big Table, in conjunction with the Global Human Project, attempted to break the world record for potluck dinner. This year, to join in on the largest dinner of the year, sharing stories and recipes with your community, all you need to do is bring a dish, enough to serve eight people. Since this is about bringing together the diversity of humanity and community, organizers request you attempt a dish with a personal, family connection… or just something good! There will be enough seating for 2,000 people, but you may want to bring a blanket or chair in case of a larger than expected crowd. Please leave the alcohol at home for one night. —Aaron Yarmuth
