The Temptations and The Four Tops

I’m constantly time traveling. As an art historian, I’m frequently introduced to things from eras other than the present. Is that the Funk Brothers I hear? These Motown studio musicians frequently played for the label’s best acts of the 1960s, including The Four Tops and The Temptations. One of my favorite memories is hearing “Bernadette” by The Four Tops while touring the old Motown headquarters/museum, aka Hitsville U.S.A., in Detroit. Have to confess I got a little misty-eyed. While some of the original members have gone to the great concert stage in the sky, the songs remain. Go get your groove on.
