Louisville’s growing list of new restaurants can be overwhelming. I mean, did you see our dining guide issue? And trying all of them can be expensive. But thankfully the Taste of Independents has you covered. At this event you can taste food and drink from over 30 locally-owned restaurants, including Butchertown Grocery, DiFabio’s Casapela, Gospel Bird, Jack Fry’s, Seviche and more. There will be live music by the Robbie Bartlett Duo, and a silent auction, with benefits from the event going to Apron Inc., a nonprofit that helps food-service workers who have fallen on hard times.
