Nominated for USA Today’s nationally renowned Reader’s Choice Travel Awards for Best Beer Fest, Tailspin Ale Fest is homegrown, which means LEO readers don’t have to go far to partake in the future champion. The WWII-era airplane hanger at Bowman field opens its hanger doors to over 150 craft beers, local bands, food trucks, and thousands of thirsty patrons. Everyone looking to sample the best craft beers from local and regional breweries will get a souvenir tasting glass to try as many of the 150+ beers as you can (safely) stomach. Tailspin is also partnering with Dare to Care to help feed the hungry, so you can feel good about the beer consumption. Also, cars can be left on site until noon Sunday, so you can truly endeavor on a beer-tasting experience unlike any other.
