Spalding Festival of Contemporary Writing

The Spalding Festival of Contemporary Writing is one of the state’s largest reading series, featuring readings by faculty and alumni of Spalding’s Master of Fine Arts in Writing program. This year’s headliner is Spalding’s Distinguished Visiting Writer Doug Wright, who won both a Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize for “I Am My Own Wife.” He is just one of over 30 writers who will read fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry at one of two locations: Spalding’s Egan Leadership Center and First Unitarian Church.
