This year’s SONICBernheim is extra special because it will happen beneath the full October “Hunter’s Moon.” Steven Feld, an internationally-renowned ethnomusicologist, will speak on the music of different cultures. He will be joined by Stephen Moore, a sound artist from Chicago who will present a special performance designed specifically for Bernheim, as well as Orchestra Enigmatic, a Louisville chamber music group. Now that we’ve moved beyond the 90-degree heat, this is the best time of year to go enjoy Bernheim. Louisville Public Media members will receive the Bernheim members rate.
