Blending blues, grunge and indie sensibilities, Slothrust has a rough-edged formula that walks the line between control and chaos. Chilly vocals, big guitars and wild drums seem to be the mission statement of the band, and underneath the madness, it’s obvious that these are music nerds, creating intricately crafted and smart waves of sound that have both bite and thought.
