Seven Sense Festival

While big-name music festivals often dominate the summer headlines, it’s always a good idea to keep an eye out for the smaller ones, because sometimes, as this one is, they’re free, and you can often catch quality local, regional and national bands without having to fight a sea of people. The Seven Sense Festival has four stages — two outdoor, one inside Zanzabar, one inside The New Vintage — featuring a full day, including local favorites such as 1200 or Black Birds of Paradise and out-of-town bands getting some acclaim like Fly Golden Eagle or Margo and the Pricetags.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 22

Music starts at noon | Free
