Seed Starting Workshop

It may be freezing today, but warmer weather will be here before you know it. Don’t get caught off guard and miss the opportunity to start growing your own food garden. Horticulture Education Agent Bethany Pratt, of the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension, hosts this workshop focusing on how and why a personal food garden can bring better, fresh food to your table and help you save a little money. It’s food literacy for urban farmers! Growers are encouraged to bring their own seeds and containers, otherwise you can learn by planting seeds in their Campus Gardens greenhouse.
