Mayor Greg Fischer gave a moving speech last month about the importance of the immigrant community to our city. However, neither he nor the Metro Council has done anything about it. We need to let them know that something must be done to protect our friends and neighbors. Join Louisville Showing Up for Racial Justice at the next public comment period at Thursday’s Metro Council meeting. Express your support for, and desire to, declare Louisville a sanctuary city. These Louisville families must be protected.
