The Rough House band, along with Squallis Puppeteers, over a dozen hand-crafted puppets and performers present for your viewing pleasure, “Sad Songs for Bad People.” It’s an event filled with “murder ballads, ditties of death and songs of tragic misfortune. [And] as puppet casualties accumulate, ill-buried secrets begin to surface and threaten to shatter the troupe’s facade.” What better way to spend a Thursday than watching a creative and intriguing puppet play complete with live music and not to mention it’s being held in the always lovely Tim Faulkner Gallery. And honestly, when’s the last time you were able to go to work on Friday and brag that you just saw the coolest puppet play last night?
