Originally from Washington D.C., Erik Orr has embraced the popular culture of Louisville with a unique vision. Erik’s technique blurs traditional painting with a “digital” aesthetic. Your eyes will be bewildered by images that appear to be computer generated, but are in fact, hand painted masterworks. This duality will allow you to experience the culture of Louisivlle from a new and exciting visual point. “For my third show with Revelry Gallery, I really wanted to step up my game. I’ve put in a lot of effort and I am extremely proud of the final product I am presenting in “resoLOUtion.” I feel it is representative of where I have grown as an artist as well as the influence Louisville and its culture have had on me over the past decade,” says Erik Orr.
