With xenophobia seemingly on the rise this year, it’s more important than ever to show refugees coming to our city that we will not only welcome them with open arms, but that we are here to support them as they start over. And we can do that this weekend by getting drunk and listening to some good music in a great bar! Kaiju is hosting the second #RefugeesWelcome free concert with music by Soft Self Portraits, Idol Mind and Ed Monk. Ten percent of the bar sales go toward Kentucky Refugee Ministries, as well as any donations of money or gently used clothing. So do your part, Louisville, and lend a hand to your international neighbor. (And have some fun too!)
