Quiet Hollers

Fresh off a new, self-titled record (although it’s their second) that sees the band expanding its rootsy past into a more exploratory, yet seemingly comfortable and unique sound, the Quiet Hollers appear to really be hitting a solid stride. The songwriting remains sharp and unrestrained and the music sounds like each band member is more comfortable individually and within the context of the band. Bands that start out as good and then transcend their own style are always worth paying attention to. This is the case here. Go to this show and buy this record.
