We don’t have to look very hard to see what systemic patriarchy has done to our country (*ahem* Donald Trump and his inadequate band of merrymen). That is exactly why a show such as “POP Goes the Patriarchy” is so crucial. Celebrating the art of Louisville women and LGBTQ communities, this show produced by The Play Babies highlights several artistic media and performance platforms. It includes a new art exhibition and musical performance by Tyson Todd Meade, live figure drawing by Rachael Harless and more. Also, life coach Ryan Glassmoyer will talk about “Empowerment: the gift of struggle,” and there will be “The Truth Booth,” which provides information about feminist and LGBTQ+ organizations and artists in our community.
