After Hours at the Speed typically offers a unique lineup of events but this week has a special treat, alongside a murder mystery tour of Gallery 3 and an actor-led reading of Hunter S. Thompson musings. It’s a screening of John Waters’ 1981 film “Polyester,” complete with Odorama technology — scratch ‘n’ sniff cards — to bring the film to life. Starring Divine, Tab Hunter, Edith Massey and Mink Stole, the film is a satirical look at suburban life through the tale of a housewife with an uncanny sense of smell who finds solace from her stressful home life and cheating pornographer husband with the seemingly-perfect Todd Tomorrow. The screening starts at 8 p.m. —LEO
