Pollinator Day

For two decades, bee populations have been in severe decline. This is primarily the result of climate change and pesticides used by industrial agriculture. This decline threatens a third of the crops we depend on for food, and, in turn… us. The Army Corps of Engineers is hosting pollinator day, a chance to help build habitats for bees and other pollinators, and to learn about their importance to humans. You will also be treated to a BBQ lunch thanks to LG&E and live music by Millers Folly Bluegrass Band.
