Cartoonist and author Dwayne Booth has been called the American Charlie Hebdo. He is a fearless and provocative thinker whose work has appeared in The Atlantic, Harper’s Magazine and newspapers. He also lectures on the history and art of cartooning at the University of Pennsylvania. His books include a history of political cartooning, “Warning! Graphic Content: Political Cartoons, Comix, and the Uncensored Artistic Mind,” and he is the subject of the award-winning documentary, “Mr. Fish: Cartooning From the Deep End.” On Tuesday, he’ll host a screening and discussion of the documentary. On Wednesday, he will present on the history, present and future of political and satirical cartooning. —Marty Rosen
