Everyone loves fur-babies, so show your support with this NuLu community benefit for the Kentucky Humane Society. Donation buckets are in place at 43, Peace of Earth, Six Sisters, Revelry Gallery, Garage Bar, Goodwood Brewing Co., The Downtown Animal Hospital, Red Tree, Peach Soul, Blofish and Taj. A locally-produced “Pause for Paws” calendar featuring NuLu residents and their pets will be available (pre-orders at Taj). Every Sunday in June will be “Dog Days” at Taj, with West Sixth Brewing beer and Tito’s Handmade Vodka specials. Through June, a West Sixth Brewing “Pay It Forward” campaign will donate a percentage of West Sixth Cocoa Porter toward the fundraiser (this is a nationwide program.) Join the fun at the fundraiser party on Sunday, July 1 at 4 p.m., with a check presentation to the Kentucky Humane Society at 7:30 p.m. The calendar release will be available for purchase and pre-order pickup, and there will be live music and drink specials.
