Louisville’s most enchanting artist, Kathleen Lolley, kicks off Día de los Muertos with new work inspired by this revered Mexican festival. Lolley uses rich, intricate compositions with symbolic imagery such as skeletons, insects, astrology and flowers on dark canvases to illuminate the themes of mourning and happiness together. Opening reception with the artist is Friday, Nov. 3, from 6-10 p.m.
