November 5th Symposium:
Redlining, Human Trafficking

This is a great opportunity to better understand gentrification, the enduring impact of redlining, and also human trafficking, which occurs in the shadows around us. Dr. Alexandra Lutnick, a senior research scientist for RTI International, an independent, nonprofit research institute, will focus her discussion on domestic minor sex trafficking. Author and urban planner Joshua Poe will talk about his recent research regarding redlining. John King, administrator of The Electric Church of The Tambourine, will speak about the social activist coalition’s upcoming projects.
