The newly formed NouLou Chamber Players offer a first performance and inaugural reception Friday at the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum on St. James Court — presenting a program of chamber music in a chamber-music style setting of a social gathering in the music room of a grand mansion. The all-Mozart program features a variety of the composer’s works, including a sonata for piano and violin, a trio for piano, clarinet and viola, and a horn quintet. The Players have also worked up a musical quiz involving themes from famous opera arias. One imagines the average audience member will stand about as much chance of scoring high on this quiz as hitting the Powerball lottery — but it should be fun!
