“Do Not Be Afraid” is a retrospect of the lustrous career of the late multimedia artist and musician Jason Noble. A true Louisville original, and a ground-breaking progressive. “Do Not Be Afraid” features over 100 works that focus on a wide range of themes, including love, monsters, humor and humanity. The exhibit includes some of his experimental and graphically wild concert flyers (absolutely amazing work). Many of the pieces in “Do Not Be Afraid” are remnants of Noble’s creative process, with sketches, small doodles on scraps of paper, manipulated photos and mixed-media collages, as well as written word, with inside jokes, personal histories and notes for future creative work and music. There will be First Friday Trolley Hop receptions on July 1 and Aug. 5 from 6–9 p.m.
