‘No Fruit Forbidden’ By Alex Schmitz

Painter and photographer Alex Schmitz’s art is as personal as it gets. He has described his compositions as “fragmented moments within a short story that have been chopped up and rearranged.” The new works in this exhibition are erotic, idealized and an exploration of his identity as a queer man. The Kentucky native lives in Brooklyn and is founder of the Taaffe Gallery.

Through Sept. 12
