Now in its 10th year, the New Voices Young Playwrights Festival gives eight young writers the opportunity to work with professional directors and dramaturges to develop their scripts into fully formed 10 minute plays performed by ATL’s Apprentice/Intern Company. Chosen from more than 600 submissions, this year’s plays were written by students from DuPont Manual High School (Huy Vo); Mercy Academy (Katie Henning); North Oldham High School (Kallen Sebastian); the Youth Performing Arts School (Brooke Morrison, Annie Stone); Floyd Central High School (Lauren Titus); Assumption High School (Kristen Bell); and Ballard High School (Benjamin Collins). Tickets are required and are likely to be in very high demand!
