‘Muses’ By Elsa Hansen Oldham

Louisville native Elsa Hansen Oldham is an embroiderer. But not how you might think she is. Her first solo show at the KMAC Museum is best described as a social critique of pop culture by way of embroidery. The works are closer to drawn illustrations than traditional decorative items. To further explore the craft, an introduction to hand embroidery adult workshop is on Nov. 15-16 from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration is required.
