‘More Than Bricks and Mortar: Smoketown, Sheppard Square and Local Housing Realities’

As part of their commitment to peace and justice in the Louisville, Spalding University will be hosting a community conversation on the issues of race, economic development, housing and neighborhood change in Smoketown. Panelists include community activists, leaders in public housing and filmmaker Lavel White, who will be screening selections from his two documentaries “More than Bricks and Mortar: The Sheppard Square Story,” and “More than Bricks and Mortar Part II: Smoketown A New Beginning.”
