Commemorating the 50th anniversary of Thomas Merton’s death is the show “Merton Among Us: The Living Legacy of Thomas Merton.” Its writers and visual artists were influenced by Merton’s teachings. All have ties to Louisville, as did Merton. Participants include Dianne Aprile, Vallorie Henderson, Carlos Gamez de Francisco, Rev. Al Shands and Joe McGee. The show was curated by Hunter Kissel, and an exhibition catalog is available.
