Tropical tiki bar, mermaids, Caribbean cocktails… just thinking about Mermaid Wars warms the soul. The Limbo’s annual tiki cocktail competition is featuring clairin and Plantation rums in this year’s judged contest. Each participant will make three cocktails (rules provided at the event), which will be scored by three judges. The best part for you is, you get to sample all of the creations before the DJ sets things off after the competition. You can also purchase bottles of clairin and Plantation rums if you want to recreate the cocktails — or take a shot — at home.
