If you’re like me, consuming copious libations for charity is always cause for celebration.  MEDWATER, a local non-profit working to establish clean, safe water and education programs in the Amazon Basin of Ecuador, plays host this Friday at Goodwood Brewing to MEDWATER On Tap, an evening of cold beverages and hot salsa dancing. MEDWATER, who promotes a mantra of thinking locally and acting globally, will receive all proceeds from your $15 entry and $1 from each delectable Goodwood brew purchased. “Friday will be an evening of great salsa music to help communities have access to better health,” says Co-Founder, Chana Fisher, who spends several weeks a year trekking through the jungle teaching villagers about safe water and hygiene. Live music and sultry dancing? Bring your grooving shoes and I’ll see y’all there.
