Mayor Fischer wants everyone to know how great our blossoming music scene is, which is why he and partners WFPK 91.9 and The Kentucky Center are hosting the Mayor’s Music Series, a monthly series that shines the spotlight on some local musicians, artists and performers here in our lovely city. This week the Misty Mountain String Band will be playing their signature bluegrass in the Mayor’s Gallery Listening Room, where local food and Louisville Pure Tap will be provided for free. So be sure to take a few minutes out of your hectic day to relax and enjoy some local food and live music because who couldn’t use some of that in the work week.
