In honor of veterans ‘round the country, admission into National Parks is free for one day, and that includes Kentucky’s treasure, Mammoth Cave. You won’t get this perk (hardly) anywhere else, though: complimentary cave tours of the national park’s vast underground system. Tickets for the Mammoth Cave Discovery Tour are first-come, first-served at the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center.
