Arriving just a few days after SCOTUS dropkicked marriage inequality in the crotch, this year’s Kentucky Pride Festival was a barn burner for sure. But we want even more opportunity to show our LGBT+ Pride, and the inaugural Louisville Pride Festival arrives this weekend to give us all another chance to party hard for equality. With three great gay bars situated within easy walking distance of each other on Bardstown Road, the Highlands is an ideal Louisville location for the festivities. Louisville Pride features local and national entertainment with performances by KARMIN, Steve Grand, Stacey Q, The Pass, The Deloreans, Nellie Pearl, Bridge 19, Brass Deville, Flyysexuality, Sasha Renee, Lance Newman, Young Wop and more. Over a hundred vendors will line Bardstown Road (from Grinstead to Beechwood), offering food, art, crafts and, no doubt, some shenanigans.
