The Louisville Pride Festival promises to be the liveliest, most colorful festival of the year. It’s a celebration of love, support and a community free from hate and discrimination. Over 125 local vendors will help make this party pop, with all-day live entertainment, including a two-hour drag show, family zone, Dance Dome and Silent Disco. And you won’t want to miss the second annual VOICES Of Kentuckiana High Heel Race, beginning with the Parade of Heels at 1:15 p.m., followed by the race at 1:30 p.m. Two-inch heels minimum! Runners can participate individually for $20, or as a team of six for $100, and must be 18 or older. The Festival benefits local youth programs including the Louisville Youth Group and the new Sweet Evening Breeze, a shelter for LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness.
