It’s not Halloween season until the haunted houses open and the Halloween Parade and Festival takes over The Highlands. In its 17th year, the Festival and Parade is promised to be the biggest year yet, including a whole day of live music, food, drinks, craft booths and activities for all. At 6 p.m. the Parade commences, taking the procession of ghosts and ghouls down Bardstown Road from Baxter Avenue to Rosewood Avenue.
