This week is the annual Out of the Darkness walk by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Kentucky chapter. But, because of COVID-19, the event has been changed to a weeklong digital experience and self-guided walk on Friday and the weekend. The walk portion is as interactive as it can be with stops for photo opportunities, a memory line and memorial tiles. There will also be a photo scavenger hunt with prizes. You’re encouraged to bring 4×6 photos of loved ones. And, in the days before the walk, you can participate by going to the Kentucky chapter’s social media pages for #WhyIWalkWednesday and #TalkSavesLivesThursday.
