Calling all creatives (musicians, actors, painters, what have you): 1619 Flux needs you to make a “spontaneous work of art” with a goal of “amplifying the voices of Louisville’s unheard.” The project will be Louisville’s version of “We Too Are Chicago” by local artist Ramona Lindsey. In 2012, Lindsey created the animated video highlighting Chicago’s forgotten youth. She’ll be leading an artist talk at 11 a.m. before the collaborative workshop. Registration is required for the participating artists, but anyone can come to the talk or “community building” and the performance from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. RSVPs recommended.
