Have you read every book on the shelf while staying healthy at home, and now you’re ready for something new to read? Or, maybe you’re interested in taking a shot at your own novel but need help getting started? The Louisville Book Festival has something for all book lovers over two days, including presentations, interactions and workshops with authors of various genres. For a full list of times and sessions, a complete calendar can be found on the website above. The keynote speaker is “Children of Blood and Bone” author Tomi Adeyemi. Personal recommendation: Poet, activist and friend of LEO Hannah Drake’s “Literature as Part of the Movement” will certainly be powerful. My personal area of need: “How to become an illustrator” (although I would need more than an hour to graduate past stick figures). Register on the website above and you will receive access to the virtual sessions of your choosing via Zoom link.
