LOCALS Annual Holiday Pottery Sale

Shopping the Saturday after Thanksgiving is known as Small Business Saturday, when the ceramics organization LOCALS (Living On Clay And Louisville Soil) holds its holiday sale. Popular since the mid-1970s, it features handcrafted ceramics ranging from functional and traditional to contemporary and sculptural. LOCALS are some of the most prominent ceramicists of our area — Amy Elswick, Wayne Ferguson, Suzy Hatcher, Mike Imes, Tonya Johnson, Lisa Kurtz, Laura George Lynch, Amy Rench and JD Schall. This year they’ve invited Daniel Evans, Rebecca Lowery, Janet Tobler and Carolina Zama to join them at the sale. —Jo Anne Triplett
