In this series, photographer Jeffrey Skinner takes a deep look into water. He compares water “in the wild” to “domesticated” forms like pools and man-made fountains. Then, he looks at the overall relationship humans have with our friend, H2O. He also incorporates time and movement, focusing on how their roles can affect water in different ways. “As in all photography, the series incorporates movement within a fraction of a second’s exposure, thereby exploring the paradox that time is not only duration, but also location,” Skinner said. So take a dive into this mystery of water and time. Just be sure to make a quick stop by the restroom on the way in.
