A prodigy at a young age, Lil Wayne paid his dues, rose to the top, hung out there for a while — winning Grammy’s, selling truckloads of records, becoming a full-blown celebrity — then he took a step back without really flaming out. Sure, he’s made some questionable moves — that rock record, mostly — but it was more of a lack of output, than a fall off. Now, with a tour of smaller clubs in support of January’s “Sorry 4 the Wait 2” mixtape, it’ll be interesting to see his next move.
