Kentucky Refugee Ministries has helped resettle people from around the world. And some of those folks are pretty talented. Performers from at least four different countries will flex their skills at this event, including Leng Hlei Sung, a Burmese vocalist, and The African Finest from E’mo ya M’mbondo Louisville, who are Bembe-Congolese singers and dancers. The show is free, so maybe you’ll have extra money to donate to KRM’s new Art Makes Home project, which pairs refugees and local artists for collaborations, to be showcased in 2020.
