Every Memorial Day weekend, Louisville Water Tower Park fills with bouncing rhythms and the smell of Caribbean foods. The Kentucky Reggae Festival has been a Louisville tradition since 2003. This year, eight bands take the stage, including New Kingston from Brooklyn and Jamaica on Saturday and Mighty Mystic and the Hard Roots Movement from Jamaica on Sunday. There will be arts, crafts, jewelry and more from the Caribbean Vendor Market and authentic cuisine from the Jamaican Association of Louisville and A Piece of Jamaica.
