Kentucky Pirate Festival

I understand how costume parties are a hassle. And some fantasyland characters, like zombies and vampires, just aren’t for everyone. But everyone loves the pirate life… Join the first Kentucky Pirate Festival this Saturday. The Tim Faulkner Gallery will be transformed for one day into a sea-goer, scallywagger tavern. There will surely be a hefty bounty of entertainment, including: pirate songs, stolen-booty marketplace and ye’ old entertainment — like a tribal dance by Dante’s Gypsy Circus and wondrous illusions from “Magic” Adams. Music performances from Drunk & Sailor, Band of Pirates, Bell Book and Canto and Kracker Dan Minstrels. Put on your finest pirate outfit and set sail for the festival, you may even win the costume contest.
