Kentucky Conservation Committee Legislative Summit

The Kentucky Conservation Committee “works to protect Kentucky’s land, air, water and biodiversity by working on legislative solutions in Frankfort.” Its annual legislative meeting comes as the 2019 legislative session launches. The keynote speaker is Mayor Dale Ross of Georgetown, Texas, which is credited with being the first city in the country to achieve 100-percent renewable energy to power its grid. Other panels and experts will address the latest news and legislative futures of energy, public lands, biodiversity, climate change and more. Lunch will be included.
