Juneteenth Freedom Celebration

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, celebrates the date June 19, 1865, when all the enslaved African-Americans in the Confederacy were emancipated. To celebrate this historic event, the Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church is hosting its annual Juneteenth Freedom Celebration. The event begins with fellowship at 10 a.m. followed by a ton of family fun activities, including karaoke and appearances from the Squallis Puppeteers. Come out and celebrate the beginning of change in the United States.
