Inspiration comes in various forms. For artists, work may happen in a gallery, but the inspiration usually comes from outside of the gallery. Artist and UofL photography Professor Mary Carothers will guide you through a visual lecture on how working outside of a gallery space inspires work, “and how electronic representation, in the form of both visual image and text, holds evolving potential for community engagement, correspondence and global interaction,” according to the event page.
