Independence Day 1816

The Fourth of July at Locust Grove is a time traveling, historical adventure back to Independence Day 1816. Join the Clark and Croghan families and General George Rogers Clark’s soldiers as they return to honor him and all who fought. Hear readings of the Declaration of Independence and remember why we celebrate this day on the peaceful, lush grounds of the 1790 Georgian mansion where General George Rogers Clark’s sister, Lucy, lived with her husband William. Food and drink will be offered for sale, including MozzaPi pizza food truck and beer on tap! Or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the beautiful, shady lawn.
