This Friday night, one of Louisville’s most well-respected improv theater troupes might be throwing its good reputation away. Improv Anonymous will put on “Peanut Butter and Jam,” inviting the audience to the stage. Improvisational theater hinges on chemistry between performers who work and rehearse to a point of absolute trust. But this show asks: “Will seasoned improvisers be able to maintain an engaging show alongside complete strangers who may have never performed improv before?” Saturday also happens to be Four Pegs’ Gives Back Night, where 10 percent of the evening’s sales will be donated to Active Heroes, a charity that provides activities, peer support and resources for veterans and their families.
