I’m Dreaming of a White Stripes Christmas

One of the bands that seemed to quit too soon — meaning they probably stopped at exactly the right time — the White Stripes rose from Detroit scene legends to international rocks stars. On Christmas night, The Gallery Singers will play a set of originals, followed by a set of White Stripes songs, a tribute, as the event page says, to “rock n roll’s most confusing family.” So, whenever you’re done doing whatever you do on Christmas — working towards a food coma, hanging out with your own version of a weird family, watching basketball, seeing the new “Star Wars” — stop by Zanzabar for some screeching guitars and pounding drums after.
